You can read elsewhere on this web site about the restoration of GWR No. 2807. Whilst 2807 is approaching completion, there is still some work to do before this most historic of engines can be returned to working order.

We have the expertise and the contacts to complete the job, but the most important thing to the project at the moment is receiving your support to make it happen.


Purchasing a share in Cotswold Steam Preservation gives you these benefits:

  2. you get the opportunity to vote on important issues at Cotswold Steam Preservation Ltd. meetings. Which means that you can influence the future for the locomotive
  3. you will receive quarterly issues of our magazine 2807 News

  5. the knowledge that all of your money is put to good use towards the restoration of No. 2807, because Cotswold Steam Preservation Ltd. is a 'not for profit' company run entirely by volunteers

Shares cost £150 each, and may be purchased by paying in full, or by paying in instalments. Payment at the rate of £12.50 per month, for example, buys one share per year. An attractive share certificate will be issued following purchase.


If you would like to help 2807 return to steam, simply click to open the online form, use the tick boxes to indicate how you want to pay (you can apply to buy shares by paying in full at the same time as seting up monthly instalments if you want to), fill in the boxes on your computer, choose your free gift, and then print the form. If you are paying by instalments you'll need to sign and date the printed copy. Then send it to the address on the form.

If you are paying in full, you may prefer to pay online with a credit or debit card using Paypal. You do not need to be a Paypal member to use this service.
